BSc in agriculture from University of Glasgow
I come from dairy farm background in Scotland, but moved to Western Australia when I completed my university degree in 1969 and have been here ever since. My whole career has been with the Western Australian Department of Agriculture – it’s had a few name changes over the years – working in dairy projects. In recent years, the focus of my work has been in pasture nutrition and resource management.
I am involved with several community groups, Rotary being one, and my interests lie in the environment and natural history. I look forward to renewing my acquaintance with Africa’s spectacular birdlife.
